Selah is a Hebrew word often translated as “God has spoken.” It is found in 71 pivotal places in the book of Psalms, serving as a musical signal to pause. Selah City Theater is a place to gather, pause and reflect on inspired dramatic works with impactful messages. Its personal development team applies the power of drama to teach acting, support academics, and facilitate personal development, promote emotional healing and recovery.
Selah City Drama Lab
Selah City brings more than productions for observation. Our human journey takes us all down many roads and we understand the power of drama in processing it all. Our Drama Lab facilitates fun and creative opportunities to process life events, trauma, grief, conflict resolution, anger management, and other challenges through improvisation, scripting, dance, creative movement, and more. Join us in this safe space to collaborate and explore! Some groups will use their Drama Lab experiences to create new original dramatic works.
